First, why you should write personal Vows!

Writing personal vows can be one of the more difficult parts to getting married. You want to pour all of your feelings into these beautiful words on a page but they end up spilling all over the book!

I personally had a hard time writing my vows when my husband Wise and I got married, but they were so meaningful. Having those vows to look back on when we are having a disagreement or when we just want to reminisce in our past is so sweet.

There are so many pros and cons to writing your own vows! The decision is completely up to you and your partner. If I were to renew my vows, I would say them to my husband privately. Like the couple photographed in this blog.
